Black Box LB300A-R3 LinkGain Ethernet Extender over VDSL

The Hardened VDSL Ethernet Extender with PoE+ is ideal for last-mile applications. It extends Ethernet up to 300 meters at speeds of up to 50 Mbps. Plus, this extender is an 802.3at PoE PSE, providing up to 30 watts of power to a PoE powered device such as a switch or wireless access point.

This extender must be used in pairs. You can set the extender as a local or remote device with a DIP switch and use one on each end of the link, or use it together with our Hardened VDSL Ethernet Extender with PoE+, 4-Port (LBPS304A), the LinkGain Ethernet Extender over VDSL (LB300A-R3), or the 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Hardened Ethernet Extender over VDSL (LB303A).

The extender is designed for use in sheltered outdoor environments, and features a hardened aluminum case. It supports a temperature range of -40 to +75° C. Plus, it complies with IEC 61000-6-2 EMC Part 6-2: Generic standards—immunity for industrial environments.

The Ethernet port is a standard autonegotiating 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX RJ-45 port with Auto MDI/MDI-X. This port also provides 802.3at PoE-compliant power to a PoE-powered device. The extender port is an RJ-11 or a terminal block port, supporting symmetrical VDSL. The extender can be DIN rail mounted, panel mounted, or rackmounted.
